About
The story
L. Young and Crystal Starr bring the solo songs and duets of Marvin Gaye into Trouble Man. The Los Angeles production pairs What’s Going On and Got to Give It Up with You’re All I Need to Get By and Your Precious Love, with Starr portraying Tammi Terrell. Harmonies and grooves are central to the sound. A separate holiday production, The Soul of Christmas, adds Motown seasonal selections and gospel-soul arrangements to the act’s range.
